Tobias Wistisen

Tobias Wistisen moved to Paris in 1999 to study fashion design. After graduating, he worked with several top brands in the fashion industry before starting his own jewellery brand in 2007.

With a love for everything hand made, Tobias explores his passion for jewellery as a space where design and craftsmanship can be perfectly combined.

Significant sources of inspiration to the design are architecture and nature – and the way they interact with each other. The aging and decaying of materials are also integrated parts of the design.

Mixing textures and materials for a delicate balance of roughness and elegance has always been important.

The contrast between linear and organic shapes is one of the core elements in the characteristic, expressive style of Tobias Wistisen’s jewellery.

PRODUCT CARE
Tobias Wistisen jewelry are handcrafted oxydized 925 sterling silver pieces that requier proper care and attention.
To keep your jewelry in the best conditions, here are few recommandations :

SILVER JEWELRY CARE
- Take of your jewelry when washing your hands, in the shower, at the beach and at the swimming pool.
- Avoid contact with any household products, cosmetics and any chemical products.
- Avoid contact with rought surfaces.
- Avoid exposing your jewelry to extreme temperatures.
- Keep your jewelry seperate in a dry environment (jewelry box or pouch).
- To clean your jewelry, use soap and warm water (neutral ph), dry with a cloth. Or a polishing cloth.

Over time, when expose to natural elements, daily life products and the natural PH of the skin,  925 sterling silver can dull and oxidised silver can fade.

STONES AND DIAMONDS CARE
- Avoid scratching, knocking or droping. Diamonds and stones can break, crack, and chip when struck at the right angle and with the right amount of impact.
- Avoid contact with water. Exposing rings with big stones to water can result in water infiltration under the stone causing foginess and a limestone deposit.

LEATHER CARE
With all leathers, we recommend keeping your item out of water and sunlight. If leather should come in contact with water, wipe clean with a dry cotton cloth and allow to air dry. We mainly use vegetable tan leather witch can become stained after contact with water.

SIZE CHART
In our size charts, the mesurements are the inner circumference in milimeters for ring and centimeters for bracelet.
If you don’t know your ring sizes, we recommend getting sized by a local jeweler.
To determin your bracelet size, we recommend mesuring your wrist snuggly with a tape mesure.
For customs sizes, please contact us at :  info@tobiaswistisen.com
